We cover it all – from the roots to the crown. Over the years, Austin Tree Specialists and Pat Wentworth have been the recipients of numerous awards. In 1990, Pat was named Central Texas Arborist of the Year by his contemporaries in the Central Texas Arborist Association, a group that Pat founded in April of 1986 to help train fellow arborists. In 1992, Pat was named Austin Arborist of the Year by the City of Austin and Austin Re-Leaf. Pat served as a founding member of Austin Re-Leaf and served as President helping the City plant trees. In 1999, the Texas Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture named Pat Texas Arborist of the Year for his work in the organization. The Texas Chapter ISA bestowed that honor on Pat once again in 2002 and remains the only person to ever have that honor given twice. In 2004, the Austin Chronicle’s Readers Poll named Austin Tree Specialists as the Best Team of Arborists in the City of Austin. This award really meant a lot to us as it was a reflection of what our customers thought of our service. In 2005, Pat won the Community Forestry Award from the Texas Forest Service for work he volunteered to the national Park at Fort Davis in West Texas. In 2006, Austin Tree Specialists again won the Community Forestry Award from the Texas Forest Service for saving a large oak from being removed at a construction site on north Lamar in Austin. Recognized throughout the community, the state, and even nationally, Austin Tree Specialists and Pat Wentworth have been working towards excellence in service and tree care one tree at a time.

CLIENT TESTIMONIALS
The trees on my place are the best part! And Pat has taken beautiful care of them through years. After a recent storm and an email on the weekend, Pat offered to come out first thing Monday morning to check all the trees in the yard for their health and our safety. His insight, vast knowledge base and wisdom accrued through years are unmatched and I trust him like no other. I’m truly grateful to call Pat Arborist for my part of the Earth!

We recently moved to Austin and had no knowledge of the local vegetation. Patrick provided us with a detailed analysis of the multitude of trees in our yard before we purchased our home so that we were assured there were no existing problems, such as oak wilt, before we bought the property. He has continued to answer our questions thoroughly, thoughtfully and professionally. He is a true expert, and he will remain our “go-to” person for any issues related to our trees, shrubs and other plants.

For the last 25 years, Austin Tree Specialists has been studying the structural and mechanical aspect of trees to learn why trees fail and how to identify trees that are likely to fail.
